Chinese Gold Panda Coins

The Gold Panda Coin was first minted in 1982, and is one of a handful of pure 1oz gold coins minted each year. Like the Australian Kangaroo coin, which depicts a different view of their native animal each year, the China Panda is redesigned each year showing the Panda in different scenes in its native habitat.

The reverse of the coin depicts Tren Tren, the Temple of Heaven (Bejing), and is constant from year to year.
